A full service quilt shop in Merrimack, Massachusetts. The Red Barn wanted a simple web presence where they could advertise their classes, fabrics, and sales without the hassles of a complete online store. Brain Arcade worked with them to create an easy to use space that encourages their customers to return to again and again. Art by the Hoof, in the Norhteast Kingdom of Vermont, creates extremely unique (moo-nique?) works of art. Brain Arcade created a simple site that the owners could maintain with ease and using a low-cost/no-cost shopping cart system. The Amesbury, Massachusetts Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) wanted an extremely clean and simple website in keeping with the Quaker belief of simplicity. And the site need to be accessible to everyone, even the visually impared who use screen readers to surf the web. While many websites achieve the appearance of simplicity, the tricks designers use are so complex that the site is not accessible to screen readers. Brain Arcade created a site that is both simple and accessible - meeting both of these needs. The North Shore Housing Trust website needed an easy to update calendar, so that visitors and staff could see the busy schedule of meetings and events. Our solution: incorporating a calendar that uses standard spreadsheet software to keep track of dates and events.
